Things looking good on the coast

Ok, so last week it was my 22nd birthday and Kathy Trembly made me a great birthday cake (thanks Kathy), and to be fair I think I earned it!!! The morning of my birthday we had a killer of a session so was good to tuck into a slab of birthday cake as a treat afterwards!!

I do miss home sometimes and on my Birthday I really did. I wished they were out here with me, but talking to Mum over skype in the morning made me feel good, and she opened some of my cards over the webcam for me - thank God for the internet! 

My favourite session out here is defiantly the long run we do in the LakeLands which I have been building on since I got out here. It's quite sureal running past the wild Kangaroos and then trying to keep up with Michelle when she goes on a surge, really makes the time fly by. 

This weeks training on the coast has taken a little turn for the good and things are getting a bit faster which is always nice to see. I know I have to be patient, and I am trying, and when Michelle turns up the heat it makes me try even harder. 

Latest bit of goss is that I have a new house mate out here, Chris Hayward has been staying with me for around 3 weeks and I am warning people out there he will be one to watch! Chris has the biggest calfs I think I have ever seen, but he is fast. I have already led him astray just a little bit and introduced him to Baskin and Robins ice cream :-) this is my treat for smashing those balls in the wheelie bin, ice cream is without doubt the best, my fave! Peanut Butter Ice cream ooooooo I can taste it now!!!!!!!! 

OOOO nearly forgot ,I have had the huge privilage of being one of the faces of the new Powerbar poster. So, thanks again to Powerbar and all my sponsors for the 2011 season. Will be updating people soon with my confirmed supporters for this season!

So, I'll finish off this blog by wishing the one and only Will Clarke the best of luck for this weekend. Will is heading over to race the Australian Sprint Champs,so . . . . . Good Luck Clarkey Boy, Go Smash It Up!!!!
